Timeline of Important Dates for Teachers/Sponsors
November 1, 2026 – Deadline for students to apply for Phil Robinson research funds.
January 15, 2027 – Deadline to register school with VJAS via Reviewr
February 21, 2027 – Deadline for students to submit paper through Reviewr; Deadline for students to pay the $35 paper submission fee if the school is not paying the paper submission fee
March 3, 2027 – Deadline to review student submissions and for any edits to be made
March 24, 2027 – Deadline to submit a single payment for paper submission fees if schools are paying for their students
Early April 2027 – Students notified if research paper was selected for presentation at the Symposium
April to May 2027 – Prepare presentation
Mid May 2027 – Check VJAS website for Symposium schedule and Program
May 22, 2027 – VJAS Symposium, Potomac Shores Middle School, Prince William County
