Important Dates for VJAS
Paper Submission for the 2025 Symposium is now closed. Submissions have been sent to the readers. Papers accepted for presentation at the 2025 Symposium will be posted on the VJAS website starting April 1, 2025.

VJAS Save the Date as We Prepare to Go Back in Person May 31, 2025. 

The 2025 VJAS Symposium will be hosted by Ferrum College and delivered in a hybrid format. Students are welcome to attend in person or virtually.

​2025 VJAS Membership and Paper Submission:
  • VJAS membership is free.
  • The cost to submit a paper has been reduced to $35 – the deadline was February 23, 2025.
  • Only students who completed a paper submission by the deadline may log in to Reviewr until March 3 to make edits to their applications.
Ferrum College Registration and Information:
  • In-person registration cost ~$35, which includes campus use fees, parking, and lunch on May 31, 2025.
    • Registration link is forthcoming.
    • Overnight dormitory costs for students, chaperones, and parents will be ~$30/person (typically double rooms).
  • There is no additional charge for those attending virtually.
  • The above fees are for in-person attendance and are in addition to the $35 paper submission fee.
